Mission Statement Basics
Mr. Peter Ferrito has been coming to Pope the past four years to work with the Student Leadership team on leadership basics along with creating the mission statement for that year. This year the process of creating the mission statement went very well. The mission statement was written in under four hours over the course of two days. Things went smoothly and we are excited to share the mission statement with the members here soon!

Alan C. Pope High School Band Mission Statement: 2005-2006
We, the passionate members of the Alan C. Pope High School Band, believe in the Pursuit Of Performance Excellence through mutual respect, self-discipline, and constant self evaluation. As integral performers, we dedicate ourselves to building a legacy of unity by incorporating trust, positive encouragement, and cooperation throughout the organization. By living these beliefs and goals, we pass on the tradition of PHS Pride.

Alan C. Pope High School Band Mission Statement: 2004-2005
We, the members of the Alan C. Pope High School Band, make better experiences for all through a continual pursuit of out common ideals. Believing and professing "Good, Better, Best", we know that when we strive for excellence, everyone strives for it. We "Never Let it Rest", seeking new facets for our developing friendships and musical ability, creating a positive learning environment that extends past the marching field and into our very lives every day. With that, we leave with "PHS Pride" standing as a testament to our school that pride is created by devotion to the strenuous, the taxing, and the glorious. Adhering to the belief held dear continues to make lasting memories, boulndless friendship, and pride only gained through the achievement of the spectacular.

We, the proud members of the Alan C. Pope High School Band, through trust, respect, and encouragement, will create a safe and positive learning environment for each member. As a unified group, we are dedicated to constant improvement in setting higher standards to continue our Persuit of Performance Excellence. We will develop skills and long-lasting relationships that will carry on the tradition for generations to come.
